Mission 2:Give One of your gifts

Reflect On Yesterday's Mission!

Before moving on to your second mission, take a moment to reflect on yesterday’s mission. How did it feel to make a commitment to be generous for the next ten days? Do you think you’ll be able to make it the full 11 days of the Giving Games? How do you think this experience might change your life after the Giving Games are over? Discuss these questions as a class, or break into small groups.

I do not know if I will be able to be generous and giving in practice and thought for 11 days, but I will be more intentional about it.  I will not allow fear suppress a desire to connect. When negative thoughts pollute my mind, I will expelled them with more connecting thoughts
Your second mission, Agent, is to share one of your gifts with another.
This is not a physical gift, like a present you might receive during a holiday. It is a unique gift that only you can give, and it is worth far, far more.

Think of one thing you’re passionate about or love to do. Draw a picture, write a paragraph, or even
close your eyes and imagine one way you can use this passion to help someone in your life. Are you passionate about playing a sport? Maybe you can help coach a younger student. Do you love art? Create a beautiful work of art to brighten someone’s day. Write a note to cheer someone up. Your unique passions can make a big difference in the world when you share them with others!
Agents, remember... As you fulfill your mission, share your experiences on the Compassion Report Map! Your report inspires others, amplifying the power of your compassion!

My son and his wife are working very hard on trying to find the perfect name for their baby boy, expected day of delivery.  I sent an e-mail to them with my care and how their giving natures have helped me want to be a better person and professional as I embark on the gift of becoming a grandmother.  My passion is for relationships that are peaceful, balanced, loving and respectful of each others differences and collaborative in the similarities. Giving (Service) is knowledge, spirituality and peace.

Going Deeper:

It’s totally okay not to know what you are passionate about yet. You are young, and life is for exploring and finding what makes you feel fully alive! Try new things with an open mind, and eventually you’ll find the activities that you want to pour your time into and become better at doing! And did you know that the passions you develop will only continue to become a great gift to the world? Whether your passions are art, philosophy, engineering, science, music, or something else, your achievements will help inspire others and brighten the world with more light.
