Global Champions of Compassion kick off a “Compassion Relay”

Honors the Fifteenth Anniversary of 9/11

Participating in the Compassion Games boosts and ignites a community’s capabilities to create healthy, vibrant, thriving places of opportunity and compassion. The Games engage people with different backgrounds, cultures, nationalities and belief systems to commit to play, live, learn, and work well together. Over the past four years, over 400 teams, with over 400,000 volunteers, in 35 countries, have served over 1.5 million people in the Compassion Games.

In a remarkable display of cooperation and collaboration people, groups and organizations from all over the world are coming together to participate in a Compassion Games International “coopetition” called the Global Unity Games: Tomorrow Together linking 9/11 with 9/21 the UN International Day of Peace. During the Games, teams and individuals challenge each other to perform acts of kindness and service in support of creating a global expression of hope for a better tomorrow.
